Multi-platinum award-winning rock band Finger Eleven celebrate an incredible career milestone after reaching over 100 million streams on Spotify for their smash single “Paralyzer”. To celebrate the landmark, the band has recorded an acoustic version of “Paralyzer” available to stream on your preferred platform.

The band shared the accomplishment in a video today on their social media, thanking their fans and media for all of the support over the years. Tucked away in their home studios working on new music, the guys decided to create an acoustic version of the track to say thanks to all in celebration of the milestone. Says guitarist James Black, “It’s really weird to get an email that your song has been streamed 100 000 000 times...it’s almost an unimaginable number, especially for a song that almost didn’t happen.”

One of the most successful Canadian songs of all time, “Paralyzer” was the first single from Finger Eleven's multi-platinum selling, Them vs. You vs. Me, which garnered the quartet a JUNO award for “Rock Album of the Year.” The single enjoyed massive airplay, setting a record for the most consecutive weeks at #1 (fourteen) Canadian Rock charts. The track hit 1 million Mediabase spins across multiple formats and spent an incredible 52 weeks on the Billboard Hot 100 chart.

Earlier this year, Finger Eleven was back in the studio working on their new album, but like many artists experienced setbacks because of COVID-19. The band was due to celebrate their 20th anniversary of their sophomore album The Greyest of Blue Skies this year with a North American tour, now on hold for 2021. The band recently announced their return to Rock The Hub in 2021 (Truro, NS) and are heading back to the U.S. for Rebel Rock Festival 2021 (Orlando, FL) with more dates to be announced.
