As Tyler Shaw closes the chapter on his acclaimed “When You’re Home” single, he delights listeners with an even gentler rendition of his most romantic song to date. Leading up to his next release, the piano version of “When You’re Home” is captivating in its tenderness. With a charming piano melody that is complemented by gorgeous violin swells, Shaw takes the passion of the original rendition and transforms it into a deeply-intimate serenade.
This rendition continues the momentum Tyler has built leading up to his third LP. “When You’re Home” was Tyler’s first release in 2021 and originally produced by Grammy-award nominated Jon Levine (Dua Lipa, Alessia Cara, Bebe Rexha, Drake), and written by Tyler Shaw, Alex Beitzke (James Arthur), and Henry Brill (Jack Garrat). Garnering praise from publications including 1883 Magazine, American Songwriter, Marie Claire, Parade, EUPHORIA., plus a wealth of international playlists including Spotify’s 'New Music Friday', Apple Music's 'New Music Daily' and the cover of Amazon Music's 'Fresh Pop', the world is taking note of Shaw's talents.
The “When You’re Home” piano version shows Tyler’s prowess in taking one song in a multitude of dynamic directions. It’s no surprise “When You’re Home” was dubbed one of the best love songs of 2021 (so far) by Marie Claire, raving, “‘When You're Home’ is the type of love song we could all use these days as we redefine what it means to feel safe and secure at home.” With each take, Tyler shines in a way that keeps each version fresh, exciting, and leaves listeners finding out more. Last month, Tyler released the exhilarating electronic dance version of the single with world renowned Canadian DJ and producer Dzeko. Through a stimulating house production the two transformed “When You’re Home” into an infectious club track. Now, with the release of “When You’re Home,” the remix and this latest version, Tyler’s momentum continues to rapidly rise as he breaks into both the US and UK.
Tyler Shaw’s accomplishments are not bound to just his impressive discography as he has worked with some of the biggest artists across the globe such as Avril Lavigne, Fefe Dobson, Justin Bieber, Michael Bublé, Sarah McLachlan, Walk Off The Earth, toured with Selena Gomez and opened for massive international acts like Alessia Cara and Shawn Mendes.
