Savannah Cristina is a singer/songwriter from South Florida. Born in Miami, the lyricist moved to Fort Lauderdale at the age of six where her music teacher convinced her parents to let her be lead soprano in the school choir. In 2013, Savannah became “youth of the year” at the Boys & Girls Club of Broward County and sang the National Anthem and many ballads at fundraisers, galas and even Miami Marlins’ Games. Savannah began doing spoken word poetry her freshman year at Stranahan High School and won Poetry Slams sponsored by her school district. She was invited to perform at many local and state events and appeared on the “Brave New Voices” television series.
The curly haired songstress released her first single, “Trust” in August of 2016. A year later, Savannah released her first #MOODtape Faded in January 2017 while a third year college student in South Florida as a Political Science Major. Savannah’s most recent releases include "Rebound," "Belong to the Streets" and "Self Care,” which has garnered 6 million streams and counting. Savannah’s DIY videos of her singing in public - at a basketball court, the beach, in traffic - have gained her continued viral success and planted the seeds for an engaged and passionate audience.
Savannah seeks to be a role model for young women, to be independent, inspired and emotionally resilient and to also express all facets of what it means to practice self-care. Her music reestablishes the feeling of classic R&B soul and celebrates the ability of music to heal and restore. At the age of 23, Savannah is currently on the path to make great music that will inspire and motivate youth, while exploring and expanding her craft."
